A new real estate sign rider app launched today offering free text messaging for real estate sign riders during their beta. PleaseText.Me is an app from the same Chicago-based authors of ThisHo.me. This fork in the development cycle still leverages the same “full” 10-digit phone numbers for the text messaging application. This allows consumers to directly engage with the real estate agent from the same number that initiates the relationship with the agent. That’s not possible with the short-code SMS solutions. Additional enhancements in the updated release include QR code analytics and a mobile landing pages. With the QR code tracking, agents can add their own Google Analytics or other site tracking scripts to the application. What this means is that QR code traffic is stored in the same analytics and reporting tools that you’re already using to track your “full” website.
The control panel makes management a snap. Phone numbers are added and removed with just a few clicks. SMS responses can be updated via the click of a mouse. The QR codes are all powered with short URLs that allow the destination to be updated right alongside the text message response. The goal is to make managing your sign riders as easy as possible.
PleaseText.Me is now housing the beta from its little cousin, ThisHo.me. ThisHo.me was an early predecessor to the new platform. The platform remains available exclusively via invitation. Apply to the beta program via PleaseText.Me
